Bill Ayers: Obama Should Be Tried For War Crimes

Former Weather Underground leader and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, who was involved in bombing the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol Building in the early 1970s looks to be selling out his friend Barack Obama. Ayers, who claims to have written Obama’s Dreams from My Father, said that Obama should be tried for war crimes.

Over at Real Clear Politics’ Morning Commute, Charlie Stone interviewed Ayers.

Ayers told Stone that every president enters “an office dripping with blood and then adds to it.”

Knowing Ayers past, many of us will be thinking, “Hello pot, this is kettle…”

Stone asked Ayers what he would rate Obama’s presidency as, not based upon personality, but upon policy. “I’d give him a failing grade, but then you’d have to compare that to all the other presidents I gave all the other presidents in my lifetime.”

Ironically, after stating he would give Obama an “F,” Ayers said that he didn’t think Obama had let anybody down. “All through the 2008 campaign, he said consistently ‘I am the middle of the road, pragmatic politician.'”

I don’t understand how that lie helps Ayers out in saying that Obama hasn’t let anyone down, yet gets a failing grade. Obama claimed that he wanted to fundamentally change America. That’s the farthest thing from “middle of the road.”

But when it came to asking whether Obama’s sole authority for Drone use meant that he was engaged in terrorist activity, Ayers answered “Absolutely.”

“Do you think Barack Obama should be put on trial for war crimes?” Stone asked.

“Absolutely,” Ayers answered. “Every president in this century should be put on trial” for war crimes.

“Yes, I think these are war crimes,” Ayers said. “I think they’re acts of terror.”

While Ayers claims that he likes Obama, stating that he is a “curious person” and “asks questions,” as well as “charming” and “interested” and that he’s a “really good guy,” he says “Today, I wish I knew him better and he was listening to me.”

Interestingly enough, Ayers statement that he wished he knew Obama better is rather lame. They both served on boards together, Ayers has held a fundraiser for Obama in his living room and has even attended the White House. They spent lots of time together prior to Obama taking the White House. In fact, it was Sarah Palin who accused Obama of “palling around with terrorists” in 2008 because of his connections with terrorist Bill Ayers.

It takes a terrorist to know a terrorist, right Bill? Ayers was involved in bombing buildings and when his girlfriend and others were killed by a bomb going off, they were planning to bomb innocent American Army soldiers and kill them. Ayers hasn’t changed, just his methods. He went from bombs, to university classrooms.
