CDC Admits Failure with New York Ebola Patient — Dr. Spencer Passed Enhanced Screening

Home » CDC Admits Failure with New York Ebola Patient — Dr. Spencer Passed Enhanced Screening

By now you have heard about our newest Ebola patient, Dr. Craig Spencer. Evidently he went bowling, used the subway system and rode in a cab before ending up in the hospital and testing positive. With a metro area population of around 20 million it would seem that New York City is one of the worst places that this could happen.

Get ready for the latest round of propaganda. Obama, the CDC and the new Ebola Czar will be all over this situation, you can be sure… Stopping planes from coming here is the last thing we want to do. The White House and CDC have told us repeatedly that banning certain travelers is a bad idea. Everything is under control. We need not panic because they know what they are doing. Let’s just leave it to the experts. If I believed any of that I’d be much happier this morning.

Do you remember the “enhanced screening” process that the CDC was talking about putting into place just recently? Well it is in place and it doesn’t seem to work very well.

Ironically, The New York Times reported on the enhanced screening process just hours before the latest positive Ebola diagnosis went public:

How are air travelers being screened in the United States?

Enhanced screening measures are in effect at five major hubs for passengers arriving from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, including temperature checks and detailed questioning on arrival.

The screenings are taking place at Kennedy Airport in New York, Washington Dulles International, O’Hare International, Hartsfield-Jackson International and Newark Liberty International. Passengers will also undergo detailed questioning upon their arrival.

Passengers at other points of entry will continue to be screened by customs agents, who examine travelers for visible signs of illness and distribute factsheets to those who have traveled in West African nations affected by the outbreak. In addition, the T.S.A. is providing guidance to airlines on how to identify passengers who are ill.

Dr. Craig Spencer passed their enhanced screening with flying colors, despite entering through one of these five major hubs. He went through the process without being flagged. The CDC admitted it last night. See for yourself.

Healthcare worker returned through JFK Airport on Oct. 17, participated in enhanced screening for all returning travelers from W. Africa.

For anyone who is still listening to the mainstream media and the government, in regards to Ebola, it is time to reassess. You cannot put your safety in their hands. They have proven that over and over again. Your family’s safety is in your hands.
