Chinese Coronavirus Spreads to USA with Three Confirmed Cases

Every so often, a terrible illness grips the attention of the international community.  SARS, Swine Flu, and H1N1 were just some of the potential pandemics that our world has faced over the course of the last few decades.

In China, fears of a deadly outbreak have risen again, as a new strain of the pneumonia-like Coronavirus has forced Far East authorities to quarantine several entire cities.  Included in this quarantine is Wuhan, where medical professionals believe that the virus originated, possibly spread from snakes to humans at one of the cities wildlife markets.

As the death tolls continue to mount in China, there are now three confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the United States.  The first arrived in Washington State, and then just days later a student in Texas was diagnosed.

The third case comes to us from one of the most densely populated cities in the nation.
