With an organization like the United Nations, that promotes anti-American, anti-Christian and Communist values, it’s not surprising that one would discover that some of their agencies are linked to Islamic jihad terrorism.
Now, the US Congress is taking a look at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which allocates $1.2 billion from 68 donor nations to 59 “temporary” Arab refugee camps that were established after the Arab-Israel war in 1948.
Now, US representatives are looking to cut off funding, which is about $400 million each year, to the UNRWA.
In the following documentary titled “The UNRWA Road to Terror: Palestinian Classroom Incitement,” the video shows children as young as 7 in schools run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) expressing support for Islamic terrorism.

One clip shows a 13-year-old Palestinian student chanting “With Allah’s help I will fight for ISIS, the Islamic State.”
“We have to make war to prove we are stronger than the Jews,” said a 7-year-old girl who is shown in the film saying the line in the classroom of a UN school in Jerusalem.
“Right now I am prepared to be a suicide bomber,” says a 13-year-old shown in the film at another UN school.
Another student, who is identified in the film as a 10-year-old who goes to a UN school in Bethlehem, is shown saying, “We need to take steps to kill them, and they will retreat and we will advance.”
On October 4, 2004, Commissioner-General Peter Hansen told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, “I am sure that there are Hamas members on the UNRWA payroll and I don’t see that as a crime.”
“Peter Hansen should be ashamed of himself for allowing terrorists to work for UNRWA under his watch, and the U.S. should use our considerable leverage to send him packing,” Engel said. “Anyone who knowingly employs terrorists who blow-up innocent men, women and children has no business heading an U.N. agency.”
Representative Eliot Engel (D-NY) has urged the State Department to pull funding for UNRWA.
“It is shocking that American government and taxpayers are supporting a U.N. agency that employs Hamas terrorists. The State Department needs to pull funding for UNRWA before one more cent makes it way into a terrorist’s pocket,” said Rep. Engel, a member of the Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia.
“It is appalling that the United States and the United Nations are paying salaries to deadly terrorists,” said Rep. Engel.
“As a member of the House International Relations Committee, I will do everything in my power to see that the State Department pulls funding for UNRWA until it is purged of terrorists and Peter Hansen is replaced,” Engel continued.
“I strongly urge the U.N. to take the moral high ground and reject Palestinian terrorism as a legitimate form of political negotiations,” he concluded.
The New American also points out some of the examples of inciting terrorism.
The explosive new revelations were laid out late last week at a U.S. congressional subcommittee hearing dealing with the UN, Israel, and Arabs. The investigative report, entitled “Poisoning Palestinian Children: A Report on UNRWA Teachers’ Incitement to Jihadist Terrorism & Antisemitism,” exposes some 40 instances of UN officials and employees — some of whom are in the classroom supposedly “teaching” vulnerable children — spreading hatred, promoting terror, and more.
According to a statement released by UN Watch, the investigation found more than 40 Facebook pages operated by UN school teachers, principals, and other employees that incite terrorism and anti-Semitism. The document shows, among other examples, UN officials celebrating terrorist kidnappings of Jewish children, cheering rockets fired at Israeli civilians, erasing Israel from maps, and even praising Nazi dictator Hitler for his role in killing Jews.
In one example highlighted by the report, Ghanem Naim Ghoneim, identified on social media as a UN school teacher, was caught posting photographs of the mass-murdering National Socialist and touting him as “our beloved” and “Hitler the great.” Noting that Hitler was close to Arab leader Amin al-Husseini, the UN teacher wrote, “Allah bless Hitler.” His students at the UN school, funded by U.S. taxpayers, praised the posts and the teacher. In another post by the UN teacher, he celebrated a rocket attack “to hit the Jews” by Hamas terrorists on the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.
“The pro-Hamas post grossly violates UNRWA employees’ duty of neutrality, and the antisemitic posts violate their duty to reject racism in all its forms,” UN Watch said about the social-media comments of the UN employees, referencing UN policies surrounding the behavior of the organization’s officials and employees. The posts remained active online as of the time of publication, despite the international outcry.
Separately, another UNRWA employee cited in the probe, Hatem Asaad, published a poster on his social media account glorifying two jihad terrorists, Rassan Abu Jamal and Udei Abu Jamal, responsible for murdering four Jews in a Jerusalem synagogue in 2014. “These posts supporting the murder of Israelis grossly violate the duty of neutrality applicable to all UNRWA employees,” UN Watch said, adding that Asaad could be seen with children at a UN school on social media.
In February, Hillel Neuer, executive director of the Geneva-based UN Watch said, “We need to see zero tolerance in the U.N. for terrorism and antisemitism.”
There’s only one way to do that. Rid yourself of Muslim countries.
However, I’m more for the US simply pulling out of the UN altogether, with no funding for anything related to the United Nations, no matter how “humanitarian” its cries are.
We, as a people provide far more charity to the sick and dying of the world than any other people on the planet currently.
We don’t need a Socialist/Communist organization to use our money for anti-American, anti-Christian agendas, and make no mistake, that’s what all US dollars go to support in the UN.
The Heritage Foundation also backs defunding UNRWA.
The Palestinian Authority is hugely dependent upon foreign assistance, which accounts for about 66 percent of its annual budget. European Union funding for the PA amounted to $600 million in 2005.[2] The United States gives $70 million directly to the PA each year, as well as $225 million for humanitarian projects through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).[3] Between 1993 and 2004, the Palestinian Authority received $6.93 billion in aid from the international community.[4]
In addition to this direct funding of the PA, the U.S. and other nations give generously to UNRWA. In 2004, the U.S. pledged a total of $127 million.[5] The U.S. provides roughly a quarter of UNRWA’s regular annual budget and is the agency’s biggest donor. The State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration has given over $300 million to UNRWA since 2001.[6] According to the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Finance, UNRWA received an astonishing $3.95 billion in international funding between 1993 and 2004.[7]
New legislation put forward in the House of Representatives by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fl) would de-fund the Palestinian Authority, an important step in the right direction. Her bill designates the PA as a “terrorist sanctuary” and would “prohibit direct assistance to the PA, the Palestinian Legislative Council, municipalities, and other constituent elements that are ‘governed’ by individuals associated with Hamas or other terrorist entities.”[8] Rep. Ros-Lehtinen’s leadership on this issue sends a powerful signal from Capitol Hill that the United States will not allow its funds to be appropriated by terrorist groups.
Congress must also insist that international agencies that rely so heavily on U.S. funding and that will interact with the new Hamas regime be free of the taint of terrorist infiltration and operate in an accountable and transparent manner. Hamas has a long history of diverting funds from charitable organizations and abusing humanitarian fundraising to support its terrorist agenda.[9] It should not be allowed to subvert UNRWA or other groups to advance its radical Islamic goals.
Sadly, The Heritage Foundation puts the caveats of funding the organization “if” certain things are done.
I stand in opposition to funding anything that is related to the United Nations.
President Trump should have never appointed my former governor, Nikki Haley, as ambassador to the UN.
He should have said we’re not going to be a part of it anymore and pushed for a full defunding of the organization.
It isn’t like he doesn’t know they are bad for America, even though he supports “the concept of the United Nations.”
