Fears of a global pandemic are running high this week as a novel strain of the Coronavirus continues to radiate outward from Wuhan, China.
The illness has no known cure as of yet, with those who survive the pneumonia-like symptoms doing so by virility and generic medical care alone. In China, the death toll has now topped 200, with experts expressing concerns that these numbers may be deflated by the government to save face.
Amid this health crisis, the World Health Organization has declared the outbreak as a global health emergency, and Delta Airlines is suspending flights in and out of China out of an abundance of caution.

The U.S.’s warning comes as multiple airlines have sharply curtailed or suspended flights to the world’s second largest economy — which is reeling as the death toll spikes to over 200 amid more than 9,000 infections. On Friday, Delta Air Lines (DAL) announced it will suspend all U.S.-China flights, starting Feb. 6 through April 30.
WHO officials say 99% of the cases are contained to mainland China, but new cases have popped up around the world — including in the United Kingdom, which on Friday reported its first confirmed case.
The Coronavirus has spread to several continents, including North America.
In the United States, no less than a half dozen cities have reported cases of the virus, including densely populated locales such as Chicago and San Francisco.
