The end of 2013 is fast approaching and the beginning of one of the most important election years is about to begin. The 2014 elections are so important that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is sending out emails “urging supporters to vote for Democrats so Republicans can’t impeach President Obama.”
The Daily Caller reports:
The email, subject line “Impeachment,” was sent to Obama for America supporters, imploring them to contribute to the DNC’s 2013 efforts. “What do these people all have in common?,” the email asked, featuring quotes from Republican Sen. Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, and Rep. Blake Farenthold of Texas discussing the possibility of impeaching Obama for one of his numerous instances of presidential misconduct.
The DNC email discussed the “I-word” and said that “Republicans are actually excited about the idea.”
“Show these Republicans that they are way, way off-base, and give President Obama a Congress that has his back,” according to the DNC email, noting that Democrats need to win 17 GOP House seats to reclaim a majority.
The New Year has not yet arrived and already the election campaign engine has revved to life.
It’s hard to believe this is the same DNC who supported impeaching Bill Clinton for less infractions than Obama, then watched Willy commit perjury about “not having sex with that woman.”
The one phrase of concern is “give President Obama a Congress that has his back.” Now, let’s pause for a second here and reflect on that phrase. The Congress, per the Constitution, is not there to “have the President’s back.” Congress is there to enact legislation, represent the people and hold in check usurpations of power by the President and the Supreme Court. It’s called a system of checks and balances. Giving any president a Congress that “has his back” is handing over complete control of the nation to one man with a governing body who is irrelevant, taking up space. Granted, that is almost complete as our elected officials in Congress have become about as effective as antibiotics against a virus.
But, this is the mindset of the Democrats. Republicans are not off the hook as there are plenty of them who have sold out to snatch power from the people and exert government controls over the masses. One could say, and it has been said, these two political parties are just different sides of the same coin. Both want the power and control; their methods differ in how they gain and implement it. Some Republicans are tired of the facade so they just openly demonstrate their innate disdain for our Constitutional Republic. These two parties have annihilated all others in order to take turns exercising power and control over the people in a very intricate waltz that has fooled Americans for some time. Third parties are allowed to rise up only to “steal” votes from one party to allow the other to gain control. One can hope this wool is about to come off America’s eyes.
Conservatives and those who support the Constitution understand that impeachment proceedings are long overdue against this president who has committed more than high crimes and misdemeanors against our nation; this president has engaged in criminal and treasonous activities witnessed by every American who has paid any attention to what is happening. Any person who values freedom would be relieved, if not proud, to see our Congress initiate impeachment against this usurper. The excitement would come if Obama’s lying, criminal, fraudulent, treasonous backside would be convicted and sentenced a traitor’s reward. However, it is not just Obama that needs to go. It is every individual he has appointed in government and judicial positions who have implemented his tyrannous plan, those elected officials who enabled him to usurp power, and those behind the scenes who seek to destroy this country for their financial gain. All of these individuals are as guilty as Obama and should receive the same consideration.
With the past behavior of this Congress along with the Obama sycophants, impeachment is a long way off, even if it happens at all. The NSA has spied on all Americans, including Congress, compiling a huge database encompassing everything anyone does or has done. Obama would not hesitate to use this to his advantage, if he hasn’t already. Include in the mix Obama’s race and his support of the debaucherous minority, the Congress is basically standing with both hands tied behind their back for fear of losing the votes from these demographic groups, if not fearful of inciting nationwide violence.
Mobs are like fickle children; what they want changes so rapidly, it’s hard to keep up and inevitably results in the erosion of any individuality including freedom and God-given rights.
America needs a strong conservative party; a party that believes in the Constitution and would work to return our government to its enumerated powers. America needs strong state governments who recognize the sovereignty of the state in order to nullify federal government overreach, protect their citizenry, educate their children not indoctrinate them, and uphold individual rights. This is a big step. For now, America needs more strong conservative candidates who respect and honor oaths to God taken upon a Bible, not a Quran; this country needs statesmen who follow Constitutional principle, not party platform rhetoric. Only through the preservation of individual God-given rights and just law can a nation truly experience freedom.
One thing the DNC does have correct – 2014 is a pivotal year. This will be the year Americans decide to support freedom or succumb to government enslavement. The outcome of this important election will determine the fate of this country for years to come.
May God grant us the wisdom to change the things we can, accept the things we cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.
