Eric Holder & Charlie Rangel: Racists are Causing America’s Problems, not Bad Decisions & Leadership

Home » Eric Holder & Charlie Rangel: Racists are Causing America’s Problems, not Bad Decisions & Leadership

Everyone who thinks the economy is doing well, raise your hand. Everyone who thinks our foreign policy is right on track, raise your hand. However, if you think all the problems that are occurring in America are caused by racists, who will do anything to stop the president because he’s black, well that’s where you’d be correct (if you are a progressive).

Using “racism” as an excuse for poor performance and corruption is a despicable and offensive method, but when your back is against the wall, and you have no place else to retreat to, simply break-out the race card and all your problems are solved. That is the message by Eric Holder, Congressman Charlie Rangel and many others on the Left. They insinuate that if everybody simply just went along with whatever the president wants, things would be absolutely wonderful right now, and all our problems would be solved.

I don’t use drugs, but I want whatever those people are smoking, because it must be some great stuff!

A couple of days ago, my fellow contributor Fred DeRuvo wrote an article about Attorney General Eric Holder. Here is an excerpt from that piece:

In a ridiculous (and childish) outburst recently to U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas during a Congressional hearing, Holder came out of the closet for a split second to show his true ignorant colors. In the video below, while being questioned by Gohmert, who at one point stated, “realize that contempt is not a big deal to our attorney general, but it is important that we have proper oversight,” Holder cut Gohmert off shooting back with “You don’t want to go there, buddy! You don’t want to go there, okay?”

Now here is what Eric Holder said to a mostly black audience at a National Action Network meeting:

“I am pleased to note that the last five years have been defined by significant strides and lasting reforms, even in the face, even in the face, of unprecedented, unwarranted ugly and divisive adversity. And if you don’t believe that, you look at the way — forget about me, forget about me — you look at the way the Attorney General of the United States was treated yesterday by a House Committee. It had nothing to do with me. Forget about that. What Attorney General has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment? What President has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment?”

Not to be left out when the race card is being played, Congressman Charlie Rangel had this to say when Holder’s critics accused him of playing the race card:

“I would say that if there’s anyone that believes that the color of the president is not an issue with those people who adamantly oppose him, they’re not realistic. It is unfortunate. Afterall, he did get elected. But all it takes is a group, they call themselves the Tea Party, to be able to impede the good Republicans from cooperating the way they should with Democrats so that at the end of the day the country succeeds, but if you notice whenever this group gets together against Obama the confederate flag is there with them. When I was involved in civil rights struggles, and the communists were trying to get in, we would tell them you get yourself another corner, this is the civil rights demonstration. They don’t do that with the Confederates.”

Well, there it is folks. It’s all because of those racist bastards of the Tea Party! People who believe that the government is completely out of control are racist.  All those people who held-up signs on freeway overpasses to impeach Obama are racist. All those conservative groups who complained that they were harassed by the IRS are racist. Those members of Congress, who want Eric Holder to give them answers about operation Fast and Furious are racist. People who dislike Obamacare because it has caused them to lose their doctor and insurance plan they liked are racist !

Is anyone else seeing a pattern here?
