Obama "No Country on Earth would Tolerate Missiles Raining Down on its Citizens from Outside its Borders”

As Barack Obama and thugs in his administration dance around who designed a “red line” with Syria and whether or not there will be troops sent in “limited military strikes” against the Middle East country, let us remind ourselves of Mr. Obama’s own words that were made less than one year ago. Speaking in Thailand on November 18, 2012, Barack Obama defended Israel’s counter-assault on Hamas in the Gaza Strip by saying, “There’s no country on Earth that would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders.”

Obama said at press conference in Thailand at the start of a three-nation tour in Asia, “Let’s understand what the precipitating event here that’s causing the current crisis and that was an ever-escalating number of missiles that were landing not just in Israeli territory but in areas that are populated, and there’s no country on Earth that would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders.”

“So we are fully supportive of Israel’s right to defend itself from missiles landing on people’s homes and workplaces and potentially killing civilians,” he continued.

“Israel has every right to expect that it does not have missiles fired into its territory,” he added.

OK, Hussein, then do you not expect the country you are wanting to go to war with to not have the same expectations? Do you not also believe Syria has the right to “defend itself from missiles landing on people’s homes and workplaces and potentially killing civilians?” Do you expect them to just roll over and tuck their collective tails between their legs and run?

Obama has shown that he cares nothing for the safety of the United States or civilians in other countries. In fact, when it comes to “raining down missiles” on citizens of other countries, he has been at the top of the list to do so, killing not only alleged terrorists, but American citizens and children. He’s even developed a secret “kill list”(which has now become a permanent centerpiece in the ‘war on terror’) with the help of his former assassination czar and now CIA Director John Brennan.

There does seem to be a bit of hypocrisy since Obama has received the Nobel Peace Prize, and yet is one of the biggest warmongers we’ve seen.

In a joint press conference on Wednesday in Stockholm, Obama and Sweden’s Prime Minister Frederik Reinfeldt spoke about the first ever bilateral meeting between the two nation’s leaders.

Obama was asked by a reporter, “I was wondering, could you describe the dilemma to being a Nobel Peace Prize winner and getting ready to attack Syria?”

Obama attempted to give a false humility and claim that he was undeserving compared to past recipients. He then went on to argue for the use of military force. However, note that he is not interested in retaliation of national security and that his claims have been unverified, with no clear goal established.

“What I also described is the challenge all of us face, when we believe in peace but we confront a world that is full of violence,” Obama said. “The question then becomes what are our responsibilities. So, I’ve made every effort to end the war in Iraq, to wind down the war in Afghanistan, to strengthen our commitment to multilateral action, to promote diplomacy as a solution to problems. The question though, that all of us face as political leaders: At what point do we need to confront actions that are violating our common humanity?”

Answering his own question, Obama said, “I would argue when I see 400 children subjected to gas, over 1,400 civilians dying senselessly in an environment where you already have tens of thousands killed, and we have the opportunity to take some action that is meaningful even if it doesn’t solve the entire problem, may at least mitigate this particular problem, then the moral thing to do is not to stand by and do nothing.”

“As much as we are criticized, when bad stuff happens around the world, the first question is, what is the United States going to do about it?” Obama said. “That’s true on every issue. It’s true in Libya. It’s true in Rwanda. It’s true in Sierra Leon. It’s now true in Syria. That’s part of the deal.”

I think it’s much more important that Obama know his place and his place is not king, though we often joke about that. His place is to uphold the law, and the law does not give him the authority to go making war on his own. Furthermore, he insults our intelligence in claiming that Syria will not be a war, but merely “limited military strikes.” Of course, it’s a war. When he addressed Israel’s right to defend itself from missiles, did he think that was merely “limited military strikes” against them? I think not. Anyone with common sense knows it was an act of war, just as the United States firing missiles into Syria will be an act of war.

I’ll leave you with the warmongering of Barack Obama via drone strikes from PolicyMic from March of this year and ask yourself when the world will tire of his tyranny and begin dealing with us because of it.

Proponents of the drone war, including President Barack Obama, claim that drone strikes are precise and only target terrorists. But a study from Columbia Law School’s Human Rights Institute finds that the number of Pakistani civilians killed in drone strikes is “significantly and consistently underestimated” and that as many as 98% of those killed by drone strikes are civilians.

While it is ultimately impossible to get exact numbers, this means that for every “terrorist” killed by a drone strike, anywhere between 10 and 50 civilians are killed.

Read that sentence again. Let it sink in.

Obama has authorized 193 drone strikes in Pakistan – four times the amount authorized by George W. Bush. According to Global Research, over the past four years, Obama has authorized attacks in Pakistan which have killed more than 800 innocent civilians and just 22 Al-Qaeda officers.

That constitutes at least 36 civilians per target.

How many of those are children? A new study compiled from The Bureau of Investigative Journalism lays it bare:
