Gosnell Trial Receives A Shocking Ruling

Just as Planned Parenthood begins to heap praise upon Barack Obama, Judge Jeffrey Minehart dismissed several of the counts in the Kermit Gosnell trial, including one of infanticide and three of murder, as well as several counts of abuse of a corpse. This ruling came after Gosnell’s attorney, Jack McMahon, argued in favor of the dismissals.

McMahon told the Philadelphia court that it is “ludicrous” to claim that “a baby is born alive because it moves one time without any other movement.”

LIfeNews.com reports,

The defense has argued that there were no live births at Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Center abortion clinic and contends the babies died during abortions and their necks were snipped afterwards. But former Gosnell staffers testified they saw signs of life even after the abortion had been completed — saying the babies “jumped” and “screamed” and tried to escape.

But, according to AP, McMahon told the judge “there is not one piece …. of objective, scientific evidence that anyone was born alive.”

…

“The Gosnell case is a watershed moment for the issue of abortion,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation. “The discovery of his horrific practices helped shed light on an abortion industry that has run amok without oversight or accountability for decades, and has prompted significant changes in abortion laws and attitudes toward enforcement in several states.”

Previously, Gosnell’s wife Pearl pleaded guilty to assisting her husband at his Philadelphia abortion center where he killed a woman in a botched abortion and has killed hundreds of babies in abortion-infanticides.

Pearl Gosnell was considering a plea deal similar to the one several of Gosnell’s former abortion center employees have made where they have pleaded guilty to receive a lesser sentence in exchange for testifying against Gosnell. Pearl also worked at the abortion center Gosnell ran that had him kill and injure women in failed abortions and kill perhaps hundreds of babies in grisly infanticides by birthing them and “snipping” their spinal cords.

CNS News adds:

All other charges, however, remain, including one for the first-degree murder of a baby that was born alive in a toilet, and according to testimony, was “swimming,” “trying to get out.”

Remaining charges include third-degree murder for the overdose death of Karnamaya Mongar, three counts of first-degree murder of babies, infanticide, conspiracy, abortion at 24 or more weeks, theft, corruption of minors, solicitation and other related offenses.

First-degree murder and a charge of infanticide for “Baby Boy B” were thrown out. According to the grand jury report, Baby Boy B’s body was discovered at the clinic in the freezer during the raid in 2010. It was a 28-week-old male.

The third murder charge thrown out was for “Baby G,” who Steven Massoff, an unlicensed medical school graduate, testified was breathing before Gosnell cut its neck.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama, who has been silent on the issue during the trial, attempting to keep it low key, but has not been silent on infanticide in the past, is planning to attend a fundraising gala later this week for Planned Parenthood, who receives some of your tax dollars to operate in the United States and is the abortion industry’s biggest player. According to the president of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards, “President Obama has done more than any president in history for women’s health and rights.”

In statement that didn’t include the word abortion, Richards said of Obama, “He understands that access to birth control and preventive health care are economic issues for women and their families. We fought alongside him to ensure that women’s health access was expanded in the landmark Affordable Care Act, and now we have to fight hard to ensure that the full promise of health care reform is realized for millions of women. We are honored to President Obama join us…”

My friends neither Mr. Gosnell, Ms. Richards nor Barack Obama have a conscience. It has been seared as with a hot iron. Even more than that. Jack McMahon, the attorney for Mr. Gosnell is in far more denial for the claims he has made in this case. I actually wonder how much booze he must consume to drown out the cries of the children that were murdered in cold blood by Gosnell and his assistants while he tells a courtroom full of people that”there is not one piece …. of objective, scientific evidence that anyone was born alive.” Then the obvious question the judge should have asked is, “If that is so Mr. McMahon, why was it necessary to sever their spines? Hmmm?” Isn’t this obvious to anyone else? If those babies were not alive, what was the purpose in cutting their necks?

Personally, I’m disgusted at what took place, but I’m even more sickened that grown adults play word games with the lives of the innocent and the verdicts toward the guilty. May God bring justice upon those who shed innocent blood and those who condone it.
