The US State Department has announced, that they are pulling all families of diplomats and military personnel out of southern Turkey, a travel restriction, allowing only absolute necessary visits to the country by government personnel has also been issued.
There could be only two possibilities why the State Department has done this. The first would be the US has been informed that an imminent attack on Turkey has been planned, such an attack would have to come from either Russia or Israel. In any case, the US State Department does not take these actions unless something big is up.
