Four terror attacks in as many days: two in Canada one after the other, an ax attack in New York City and vehicular jihad in Jerusalem – and the jihadists are just getting warmed up.
Of course, in all of these jihad news stories, getting the facts from the enemedia is difficult, and at times impossible. They self-enforce the Shariah. And so they approach the news story with bleach and a scrub brush, working hard to come up with something (anything) other than what it is.
Every day, I report at my website, PamelaGeller.com, on the escalating war by Muslims on the West as I have predicted and reported on for years. And despite this escalating evil, the response by elected officials, the enemedia and Islamic apologists remains unchanged. Islamic supremacists have spread enough money and muscle around for decades to ensure that the only response is concern to minimize the mythical phantom “Islamophobia.”
Meanwhile, freedom-loving peoples look in desperation to Canada as the leader of the free world – as worldwide chaos ensues in the wake of Barack Obama’s pro-jihad policies. For unlike Barack Obama, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper called the attacks in Canada “terrorism.” As Aristotle said, A is A.
After one convert to Islam, Ahmad Rouleau, murdered a Canadian soldier by hitting him with his car, and another convert to Islam, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, shot dead another Canadian soldier at the National War Memorial and then rampaged through the Canadian Parliament building in Ottawa, Harper said Wednesday: “This week’s events are a grim reminder that Canada is not immune to the types of terrorist attacks we have seen elsewhere around the world. … This will lead us to strengthen our resolve and redouble our efforts and those of our national security agencies to take all necessary steps to identify and counter threats.”
Harper didn’t say “jihad,” of course, but he did classify both killings as terrorism, which is at least a step in the right direction. He has ample reason to use the word “terrorism.” Zehaf-Bibeau, the jihadist who attacked the Canadian Parliament and killed a soldier, is not a recent convert, as has been widely reported, but a longtime Muslim whose parents truly represent the two tenets of the global jihad. His father fought with the jihadists in Libya. (Maybe he can tell us something about Benghazi.) His mother is deputy chairperson of a division of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board. The concept of immigration jihad goes all the way back to Muhammad. Al-Hijrah (immigration) as a means of supplanting the native population and reaching the position of power is a tenet of Islamic imperialism. Jihad and al-Hijrah – it’s an explosive cocktail.
This is not to say that the Canadian response has been perfect. It has turned out that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police worked with the imam at the mosque Rouleau attended. How did they work with him? Did the imam say the Quran was wrong? Did the mosque have programs against jihadic doctrine and recruitment? Ahmad Rouleau was following Islamic texts and teachings.
Why didn’t Crown prosecutors charge Rouleau with attempting to leave Canada to participate in terrorist activity when he was apprehended at the airport en route to Syria to wage jihad?
Even worse, after the Parliament Hill attack, Canada’s military was ordered to stay out of uniform when in public. This is surrender. This is saying we will respond to jihad attacks by curtailing our own activities and freedoms. This is cowardice. This is saying we will walk around in fear of the jihadis instead of being resolute in defending ourselves against them. This is outrageous.
Yet despite all that, Harper’s stance contrasts favorably to Obama’s. The Obama administration characterized the Fort Hood jihad killings as “workplace violence,” and nothing has changed since then. Obama wouldn’t call the recent beheading in Oklahoma “terrorism,” and instead sent an envoy to Oklahoma beheader’s mosque with a note of thanks. Then on Friday, Ynet News reported that “hours after a Palestinian terrorist drove his car into a crowd waiting at a light rail station in Jerusalem, the U.S. consulate in the city issued a memo referring to the attack as a ‘traffic incident.'”
A “traffic incident.”
This past summer, when Hamas staged a hoax – a staged school attack – without verification or confirmation, Obama called Israel “indefensible,” instead of calling the blood libel “indefensible.” His administration was “appalled” and “horrified” by Israel, not by Hamas. What is more appalling, horrifying and indefensible than denouncing Israel on the world stage without the facts? Calling a terrorist attack that kills a baby “a traffic incident.”
The endless obfuscation about the motive of jihad attacks speaks to the enormous failure by the Obama administration and law enforcement.
And now, apparently, New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton finally agrees. He has said that the attack by yet another convert to Islam, Zale Thompson, who seriously injured one NYPD officer and wounded three others with an ax on a Queens’s street, can be classified as “terrorism.” Of course, he trips over his own convoluted logic when he says that the jihadist “had no clear ties to international extremists.” On the contrary, there are no “lone wolves” in the global jihad army.
Thompson wrote: “If the Zionists and the Crusaders had never invaded and colonized the Islamic lands after WW1, then there would be no need for Jihad! Which is better, to sit around and do nothing, or to Jihad fisabeelallah!”
“Jihad fisabeelallah” is jihad for the sake of Allah, violent jihad. And Zale Thompson didn’t sit around and do nothing. He took his ax and went jihad on four police officers. That was his jihad.
The Islamic State has urged Muslims in the U.S. and Europe to attack law enforcement and military personnel. Rouleau, Zehaf-Bibeau, Thompson and the jihadist in Jerusalem heeded the call. It is jihad. It is terrorism.
Imagine: 13 years after Sept. 11, we are applauding calling jihad terror “terror.”
