If there is any question where Barack Hussein Obama stands on the “rule of law” or for that matter, the enforcement of the law, one has to look no further than the stance he has adopted and stated in an address on May 13, 2014, staged White House event in front of law enforcement officials regarding immigration laws. The day before this event, the self-proclaimed “king” and/or “dictator” Obama authorized the release of over 36,000 illegal immigrants convicted of murder, rape, theft, assault, kidnapping and other crimes. According to the self-proclaimed ruler, enforcing immigration law “isn’t smart.”
The Daily Caller reports on the staged event and Obama’s position:
“Cops should be going after major criminals, not the many illegal immigrants that are quietly living in their districts,” said Obama, who has twice sworn to uphold the nation’s laws.
“You’ve got to spend time dealing with somebody who is not causing any other trouble other than the fact that they were trying to make a living for their families,” Obama said.
“That’s just not a good use of our resources. It’s not smart. It doesn’t make sense,” said Obama, who has already directed immigration police to minimize the enforcement of illegals living far from the border.
The statement will likely spur concern among Republicans and the public that Obama can’t be trusted to implement the enforcement features of any immigration compromise.
A March 2013 Gallup Poll showed that 138 million foreigners would like to settle in the United States. The total included an estimated 18 million people in China, 13 million people in Nigeria and three million people in Kenya.
The purpose [of the event] was to stimulate his supporters’ declining interest in the largely defunct and unpopular 18-month campaign to sharply increase the inflow of immigrants and guest-workers. Obama needs to keep the issue boiling to boost turnouts by Latinos in November.
The Center for Immigration Studies released a report showing the 36,007 illegal immigrants had 87,818 convictions: 193 homicide convictions, 426 sexual assault convictions, 303 kidnapping convictions, 1,075 sexual assault convictions, 1,160 stolen vehicle convictions, 9,187 dangerous drug convictions, 16,070 drunk driving convictions, 303 flight escape convictions.
In fact, a group of illegal immigrants, one who was charged with fleeing the scene of an automobile accident, was present on Capitol Hill recently, invited by Rep. Paul Grijalva (D-AZ), demanding Obama exercise executive privilege to circumvent Congress to grant illegal immigrants citizenship. Naturally, Obama maintains that adding 33 million individuals to America’s population of 315 million would stimulate our economy and create new jobs.
One has to wonder what kind of “job creation” and economy stimulation would occur upon allowing criminals to remain in the country and to add more individuals to our population when unemployment is rampant.
Since Obama was pandering to law enforcement officials, his position on granting amnesty to illegal immigrants currently in the country centered on making law enforcement’s job “easier.” His rhetoric eluded to the job of law enforcement being made more difficult because those here illegally were hesitant to report a crime or be witnesses for fear of being deported and some of law enforcement’s time was spent cooperating with the federal government regarding immigration enforcement.
If I am not mistaken, wasn’t there a Senator from Illinois running for president who back in 2007 took a different stand on immigration? Yes, there was and his name was Barack Hussein Obama. The gullible believed the lies of this man not once, but twice, so now America is reaping what it has sewn. Of course, voter fraud probably attributed to his wins but that is another topic.
Welcome to the New America under the control of the self-appointed king and Dictator Barack Hussein Obama. This man is circumventing the law and judicial system by allowing agencies to release illegal immigrant criminals back into the community to commit more crimes instead of having them deported to their country of origin. These are not the actions of a leader, but the actions of a king or dictator. In the meantime, our representatives remain quiet.
Congress has basically been declared non-existent, not only by this self-appointed king but by itself in its failure to exercise legislative authority. Members of Congress fail to act against pseudo-law established by this man or bring to task a man who is clearly engaged in criminal activity while holding the highest office in the land. The House will not impeach because the Senate will not convict. No one is interested in impeachment or actions would have occurred instead of the rhetoric along with the dog and pony shows. Excuse after excuse is pandered to the American public while Congress allows this man to turn this country into nothing more than a toy to be played with by a man who has no business holding any political office. Congress is defeated and they know it. They throw bones to the citizens to keep down trouble, treating their constituents as measly peasant underlings.
Let’s face it – America has been damaged. Whether that damage has been irreparable or not remains to be seen. At the rate she is going, America is soon destined to be as bad off as the chaotic, lawless country of Somalia. Unfortunately, there will be nowhere for Americans to turn as the flicker of freedom has basically died all over the world. Our bright beacon of freedom is now a candle the winds are blowing to extinguish – some would say it is gone already.
