While visiting the drought stricken state of California and after giving a speech about how we all “have to make sacrifices during these tough times,” president hypocrite went to play golf in Palm Springs. Palm Springs is located smack-dab in the Mojave Desert, which is also in one of the drought stricken areas in California. However, somehow the golf course there is able to pour over a million gallons of precious water a day (that’s right a million gallons a day) on the golf course where our president went to play golf.
How on earth can Obama possibly justify that? He gives a speech about everybody doing their part and then plays golf on a course that uses a million gallons of water a day to water the grass there. Oh well, it’s just another example of there being two sets of rules – One set for Obama and another set for you and me !

Vacationing with DVDs of his favorite television shows and multiple golf outings with his buddies, the duffer-in-chief played at two of the most exclusive courses in the Palm Springs area. On Saturday, Obama played at the Sunnylands estate, built by the late billionaire Walter Annenberg, which features a nine-hole course that is played like 18 holes. The following day he golfed at billionaire Oracle founder Larry Ellison’s 19-hole Porcupine Creek. On Presidents’ Day, Obama hit the links at Sunnylands once again.
The 124 golf courses in the Coachella Valley consume roughly 17 percent of all water there, and one quarter of the water pumped out of the region’s at-risk groundwater aquifer, according to the Coachella Valley Water District. Statewide, roughly one percent of water goes to keep golf courses green. Each of the 124 Coachella Valley courses, on average, uses nearly 1 million gallons a day due to the hot and dry climate, 3-4 times more water per day than the average American golf course.”
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am sick to death of this elitist SOB flaunting himself like some kind of despot!¬† Let’s not forget that by doing this, it is also incredibly “bad form”! How can he possibly justify playing golf at a place that uses precious water, while the farmers are watching their crops wither and die from lack of it? Once again, “It’s good to be the king,” isn’t it?
Let’s not forget that while he’s playing golf, violence erupts overseas and people are dying, but he lets our clown vice president deal with those annoying little problems. Where is the leadership from the most powerful man on the planet? No wonder Vladimir Putin flips Obama the bird at every given opportunity. It’s not like our cowardly “lead from behind” president will do anything about it, except maybe go to a fund raiser or give some idiotic speech.
So, while the empire is in disarray and millions of Americans have no jobs, while almost 50 million Americans are on food stamps, once again Obama shows us that he just doesn’t give a rat’s¬†patootie about you and me!
