Obama, the Red Line in Syria & Remembering Iraq 1988

Barack Obama asks, “Do we strike Syria or not?” Is this attack supposed to be over the murder of over 400 children? What must be asked is, “Where is Obama’s heart when over 3,000 children are murdered every day here in our own nation through the abortion attacks?” Why is Obama so worried about the killing of people with gas when he allows doctors to literally suck the brains out of babies to kill them here? Where is his outrage over that? How about the outrage from Obama about the babies killed while being born by having their brain stems cut to stop them from living? If we take Obama serious, then he should be yelling to stop the holocaust of murdered children here in the United States! However, this is not beneficial to his agenda, and so that will never become an issue for him to take the podium and claim it has to stop!

We have been encouraged to send millions of dollars of ammunition into Syria while Obama says nothing about the 3,000 children murdered every day by abortion!

Let us look at what Obama’s Chief of Staff said:

“The United States has no military allies in its plan to launch missile attacks against Syria as punishment for the country’s use of chemical weapons, White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough said Sunday.

McDonough conceded the fact on CNN’s “State of the Union” after persistent questioning from host Candy Crowley, who asked him whether President Barack Obama has secured international military support for the strike — as opposed to moral support.”

Barack Obama had stated that the use of chemical weapons was where he would draw the red line, then he backed off and said it was the world that drew the red line, yet here his own Chief of Staff says, “The United States has no military allies in its plan to launch missile attacks against Syria as punishment for the country’s use of chemical weapons.” Now if we have no support, why do this? Is this just to show that Obama keeps his word? If that is all this is about, then he should resign and get out of office because that would show that Obama is abusing the power of his office for his own agenda! How can we support an individual that cannot even garner support from any of our allies? Obama was extremely quick to lay claim that Bush was wrong about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, even though thousands were killed by Saddam Hussein in 1988 by the exact same gas that was supposedly used in Syria. Just take a quick look at what was shown from a 1988 report below!

“1988: Thousands die in Halabja gas attack

Thousands of people are reported to have been killed and many others injured in a poison gas attack on a Kurdish city in northern Iraq.

Up to 20 aircraft, said to include Iraqi Migs and Mirages, were seen overhead at around 1100 local time in Halabja.

According to experts, the chemicals dropped by the planes may have included mustard gas, the nerve agents sarin, tabun and VX and possibly cyanide.”

This article asserts that Iraq used gas on their own people, as did the leader of Syria allegedly did. In either case, they both allegedly used a deadly gas to kill their own people. What few are making statements about is the fact that Iraq had the very same type of weapons, and it has been reported that one of the generals of Saddam Hussein had actually stated that the reason those gas supplies were not found was due to them being shipped by truck to… Syria! Now Iraq sent the gas it used against its own people to Syria so it would not be found. It is now known that the Weapons of Mass Destruction were sent by truck to Syria where they have used nearly the identical poison on their own people!

Why is it that people fail to associate poison gas with Iraq, especially since Iraq used the exact same gas on their own people in 1988? Just look at what this report from 1988 states about just how many people were killed and by what type of gas!

“Most of the details about the Halabja killings only emerged a few days later. Reports from the city suggested that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein’s forces had launched the chemical gas attack.

Figures for the final total of dead range from 3,200 people to 5,000.

Between 7,000 and 10,000 are believed to have been injured in the massacre, which became known as “Bloody Friday.”

Initially, the US Defence Intelligence Agency blamed Iran for the attack. Halabja is around eight to 10 miles (14km to 16km) from the Iranian border.

However, the majority of evidence indicates that the gas attack was an Iraqi assault against Iranian forces, pro-Iranian Kurdish forces and Halabja’s citizens during a major battle.

Although there is some evidence Saddam Hussein’s forces had used chemical agents before this date, the attack on Halabja is thought to be the first documented assault using chemicals.

Saddam Hussein’s deputy – Ali Hassan al-Majid, or “Chemical Ali” – who is on trial charged with crimes against humanity over a campaign against Kurds in the 1980s.”

Some 3,200 to 5,000 people were killed by poison gas in 1988. The pictures of the swollen bodies lying where the gas killed them surfaced, but we will not place such terrible pictures here just to make a point. The only reason I reference this is to question why Obama even considered a strike upon Syria? They have not threatened our nation, at least not until a few days ago anyway, due to the planned attack upon Syria. In an interview with Charlie Rose, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that if attacked America could “expect anything” as far as retaliation.

Barack Obama is about to open a door that should not even be looked at! He has no reason to send any sort of weapon into Syria! Syria has done nothing that would hamper our nation in any way. Syria is not a national threat nor is it a security risk to our nation! With this in mind, one has to wonder why do we even have to question what goes on in Syria unless they have a relationship to the Benghazi attack last year.

This could be the beginning of a much larger war that Obama is not prepared for or willing to fight. He would be wise to stand down in this instance.
