Thanks to the insufferable greed of the mainstream media, our nation is divided down a distinct and damning line this week.
The concept of impeachment has landed like a cleaver in the psyche of this country, squarely splitting We The People into the false dichotomy of Team A and Team B. This is done for the simple purpose of marketing and out-of-control consumerism, as advertisers and manufacturers use this combative, emotional response to garner viewers.
In many ways, this is not unlike a game between the Red Sox and Yankees, expect that the mainstream media has dedicated nearly the entirety of their broadcast to badmouthing one team or the other, stoking the rivalry to dangerous and violent ends.
This silly and pedantic view of the nation has led us to where we are today, with protesters facing the threat of arrest for stating their political beliefs.
Police officers kicked out constituents protesting the House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump at Rep. Lucy McBath’s (D-GA) office in Sandy Springs on Wednesday.
The constituents are members of the Tea Party Patriots. A local conservative activist in Georgia’s sixth congressional district, represented by McBath, provided a video of Wednesday’s incident exclusively to Breitbart News.
In the video, provided to Breitbart News by Tea Party Patriots Action, Jenny Beth Martin, the chairwoman of the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, blamed McBath’s staffers for calling the police.
Referring to the impeachment inquiry, she declared:
McBath’s staffers are calling 911 because constituents want to talk to the staff to tell them they don’t want to see her allow this witch hunt to continue against President Trump.
Last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the beginning of something the democrats are calling a “formal impeachment inquiry”, which seems to be only slightly more intense than the probes that have been ongoing for some months under the guidance of folks like House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler.
