For nearly the entire duration of this impeachment fiasco, we have been told that Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine were completely above-board, and unworthy of further scrutiny…after all, they were already “investigated” by the Obama administration.
This matters, of course, because the left is accusing Donald Trump of improperly asking the government of Ukraine to inventive Biden’s work with Burisma, a natural gas company in the small European nation. If Hunter’s work was completely legitimate, the Democratic argument would have merit.
But, as we are beginning to the learn now, the real “merit” may lie within the Biden investigation itself.
On The View, host Sunny Hostin explained:
During the panel’s discussion on Biden’s emotional interaction with a voter, Hostin said, “He has to craft whatever response that he needs to craft when it comes to Hunter Biden being on the board of that Ukrainian energy company. That’s just the bottom line.”
She continued, “I think the Obama administration took it so seriously that we have heard testimony that the Obama administration, I think, prepped Marie Yovanovitch in advance of her nomination hearing in front of the Senate. Isn’t that correct? About that very issue. So this is an issue that has some merit. It at least had the Obama administration concerned. So what is he going to do with that? You know, what is he going to do about that question? It’s not a meritless question.”
Former Vice President and current 2020 candidate Joe Biden, father of Hunter Biden, yesterday snapped at a campaign event, calling an audience member a “damn liar” after he mentioned the concerns about Burisma and the younger Biden.
