Several electors to the Electoral College who are set to cast their vote for Donald Trump are now claiming they are being threatened over their vote.
One thing to keep in mind is that Donald Trump is consider the president-elect, but until the votes are cast at the electoral college in December, that is not set in stone. This is not to call into question whether he won the votes or not, but whether or not there will be attempts to turn electors to Hillary Clinton via threats, and this seem to be the case in a couple of instances.
This is one of many reasons we face some bit of danger considering the anti-American sentiment from many in the US, especially those who have supported Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah and Hillary Clinton.
Since the election of Trump, there are 38 Texans who represent the State of Texas at the Electoral College. In Texas, as well as several other states in the union, they are not required by their states to vote for whomever won the vote in their states.

Now, there is a push to sway electoral votes in the direction of Hillary Clinton.
First, take a look at this report from KXAN:
One of those electors is Alex Kim. He told KXAN that he is constantly responding to emails from those who seem to be threatening him if he votes for Donald Trump. However, he is unmoved.
“I reject the Democratic Party principles and I reject Hillary Clinton,” Kim said. “I’m actually the person who casts the vote for president of the United States. When people ask me to vote for Hillary Clinton, there’s no way.”
Kim is surprised that people are actually attempting to sway his vote.
“Usually the Electoral College is very ceremonial, you’re there, you cast your vote and you’re done,” he continued. “Now all the electors are starting to get, ugh, it’s starting to beat me down.”
Some Clinton supporters from out of state have gone further than merely attempting to sway votes. They’ve issued threats.
“There are some electors who have been threatened,” Kim said. “With harm or with death.”
Kim simply responded, “You may all go to hell, I shall go to Texas. If it was good enough for Davey Crockett, then it’s good enough for me.”
However, Texas is not the only state in which these things are being reported. In Michigan, Mike Banerian, youth chair of the Michigan Republican Party and an official elector obligated to cast his electoral vote for President-elect Donald Trump, says that he has received emails urging him to cast his vote for Hillary Clinton.
The Detroit News reports:
Trump’s opponents have deluged Banerian and other GOP electors with pleas and nasty emails to reverse course and cast their ballots for Clinton, according to the Michigan Republican Party.
“You have people saying ‘you’re a hateful bigot, I hope you die,’ ” he said. “I’ve had people talk about shoving a gun in my mouth and blowing my brains out. And I’ve received dozens and dozens of those emails. Even the non-threatening-my-life emails are very aggressive.”
The Detroit News verified one message containing a death wish and another containing a death threat, in which the person told Banerian he would “put a bullet” in his mouth. Banerian said he deleted the rest of the emails and messages “because as you can imagine they’re clogging up my email.”
“Even if I could, I wouldn’t be remotely interested in changing my vote,” said Banerian, a political science senior at Oakland University and youth vice chair of the Michigan Republican Party. “The people of Michigan spoke, and it’s our job to deliver that message.”
On Tuesday, we reported that there was also an effort among electors to “flip the Electoral College” to block Trump’s win. Bret Chiafolo, a Washington state elector, and Colorado elector Micheal Baca have launched what they call a “moral electors” movement in hopes of convincing 37 of their Republican colleagues to deny Trump their votes.
Will any of this happen? Probably not. A few may abandon ship, but I’m doubtful, as the people have become so polarized in US politics. Many actually believe they are going to get something different with Trump. That has yet to be seen. Either way, it appears to me to be a clear attempt to undermine the people of their state for these people to engage in such practices.
