For once, I’d just like to see the US Congress only spend money on what the Constitution gives them the authority to spend money on, but it’s not going to happen.
The latest debt ceiling compromise has demonstrated both the hypocrisy of Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and the willingness of President Donald Trump to join with Democrats in more unconstitutional spending and continued debt for the united States.
On Friday, the House passed its debt ceiling bill with a vote of 316-90.
Included in that bill was $15 billion in unconstitutional relief money for Hurricane Harvey victims.

While more Democrats voted for the bill over Republicans, 89 Republicans supported it. No Democrats voted against it.
President Donald Trump, who talked tough talk about deficits and debt during the campaign, struck a deal with Democrat leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi to ensure the Senate passed its debt ceiling and Harvey relief bill.
The Senate passed its bill with a vote of 80-17.
The usual suspects were involved.
The thing in all of this is this $15 billion is not the government’s money to give to Harvey victims. Take a lesson from history and Davy Crockett.
The hypocrisy from Ryan comes that he said that a three-month debt-ceiling package was “ridiculous and disgraceful.”
This comes from a man that has voted for debt ceiling increases and continued unconstitutional spending over and over and over again. He has spent trillions of tax dollars to implement what he called unconstitutional, Obamacare.
He played people as though he were conservative when he is a big government, big spending socialist just like a lot of Democrats and Republicans in DC.
Treasury Secretary Mnuchin told Fox Business on Thursday, “We’re very happy we have a deal. The president’s priority was to make sure we have the funding for [Hurricane] Harvey and to make sure we raise the debt limit to pay for that.”

If that weren’t bad enough, Ryan and Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) attempted to link a $2 trillion increase in the debt ceiling to Hurricane Harvey aid funding.
Yep, those are today’s conservatives. Tomorrow, they’ll be your full on Socialists as the Democrats become full on Communists.
President Trump is expected to sign the bill shortly.
This is just another example of what I believe is controlled opposition that is happening right in front of our eyes.
